WINNIPEG — The Canadian Museum for Human Rights in Winnipeg has a new leader.

John Young has been appointed as president and CEO.

Young was interim provost of the University of Northern British Columbia.

He is to begin his position at the museum next month.

Gail Stephens, who was serving as president and CEO temporarily, is to resume her duties as chief operating officer.

The Canadian Museum for Human Rights says it is dedicated to the evolution, celebration and future of human rights.
