TORONTO – Beyond the sport and competition, organizers of the Pan Am and Parapan Am Games are hoping to dazzle spectators with an array of arts and musical events throughout the Games.
Kicking off on July 10, the PANAMANIA arts and cultural festival will showcase more than 1,300 artists in 250 performances and exhibitions in venues across Toronto.
The presentations range from circus performances, comedy shows, theature, visual arts, music and fashion exhibitions.
While some of the events are ticketed, many are free and open to the public.
PANAMANIA Live @ Nathan Phillips Square
Among some of the marquee events, PANAMANIA Live @ Nathan Phillips Square will host more than 130 musical acts on three stages. Every day, bands including Death From Above 1979, the Flaming Lips, Chromeo and The Roots, will play free shows at Nathan Phillips Square (100 Queen Street West, Toronto).

Where Art Meets Sport
From July 11 to 25, Where Art Meets Sport takes over the CIBC Pan Am Park (200 Princess Boulevard, Toronto).
Every day, live performances will take place on two stages. The shows are free and open to the public. The lineup includes bands such as USS, A Tribe Called Red, Lights and Colin James. Click here for the full schedule.
PANAMANIA Live @ The Distillery District
Toronto’s historic Distillery District (55 Mill Street) will play host to a number of music, threatre and street performances throughout the Pan Am Games. Shows are free and open to the public and will run daily, excluding Mondays.
