A pedestrian is dead after being struck by a vehicle in Surrey.
It happened early this morning at the intersection of King George Boulevard and 108th avenue. A vehicle heading northbound hit the pedestrian while he was crossing the street.

Police believe the driver had a green light at the time of the crash. They’re also trying to determine if speed was a factor.
The pedestrian was wearing dark clothing.
The driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators.
