Manitoba Hydro says power restored in Garden City

WINNIPEG – Manitoba Hydro says the lights should be back on in Garden City.

The utility Tweeted Wednesday afternoon that 2,000 customers in the Winnipeg neighbourhood were without power: but by 2 p.m. said it should be restored.

All Garden City customers should have had power restored by 2pm. If you're still out, pls report to 204-480-5900. #mboutage

Winnipeg police also warned that homes, businesses and traffic lights were affected during the outage.
