The TTC is set to make yet another service announcement this morning.
It’s rumoured it could be about rolling out extended Wi-Fi coverage on the subway.
We’re expected to hear from Mayor John Tory and TTC chair Josh Colle at 10:30 this morning.
This is the TTC’s second major announcement this week
On Monday, the transit commission vowed to implement shorter wait times of 10 minutes or less on a total of 52 routes.
Today’s announcement comes only a week after all four lines of the subway were shuttered for 90 minutes due to a massive communications failure in the middle of morning rush hour, throwing the city into chaos.
