WATCH: Brampton woman stuck in a tree after trying to save her cat

TORONTO – Firefighters had to be called after a Toronto-area woman got stuck trying to bring her cat down from a tree overnight.

The incident happened in front of a home on Ashwood Crescent in a Brampton, Ont. neighbourhood west of Toronto.

The Brampton fire department were called in around 1 a.m. to rescue the 19-year-old woman after she climbed a tree to bring down her cat but ended up getting stuck herself.
