Codiac RCMP release ‘thank you’ video ahead of Moncton shootings anniversary

New Brunswick RCMP have released a video thanking residents of Moncton and people across the country for their support nearly one year after the murder of three RCMP officers.

The video titled “Thank you from the Codiac Regional RCMP” was posted to the force’s YouTube channel as a message of appreciation to the people of New Brunswick, Canada and the rest of the world for ” their continued support following the deaths of three fine members of the Codiac Regional RCMP: Cst. Doug Larche, Cst. Dave Ross and Cst. Fabrice Gevaudan.”

“As a police force, it is our job to look after the community, to look after you, but during our darkest days you looked after us,” reads a message at the beginning of the video.
