CALGARY – A convicted repeat sex offender who’d been missing for at least four days turned himself into the Blood Tribe Police Friday morning.
Twenty-nine-year-old Keegan Spearchief is currently in custody and will appear before a Justice of the Peace later on Friday on new charges of breach of recognizance.
Inspector Joseph Manyfingers of the Blood Tribe Police force said they will be opposing his release.
Spearchief has a long and violent criminal history, including assault and sexual assault with a weapon.
Warrants were issued by the Blood Tribe Police Service after Spearchief failed to attend court. His last known address was in the area of the Blood Tribe Reserve, but according to police, he’s known to frequent the Calgary area.
