REGINA – Regina Police are on the hunt for two men who tried to abduct a woman in Regina early Friday morning.
Around 3:45 AM police spotted a female in distress on the 300 block of MacDonald Street, and she told officers her friend was almost abducted.
The victim alleges she was sitting in her parked car when a older four-door light tan car approached from behind. The passenger of the suspects car got out and inspected another parked vehicle. When the suspect who was armed with a handgun noticed the victim he told her to get out of the car and she did. He then attempted to pull her into the suspects’ vehicle but she fought back and screamed for help.
The male got into the suspects’ vehicle and sped away. The victim was not injured.
The armed suspect is described as aboriginal, slightly built and around 5’6” to 5’9” tall, wearing a dark coloured hooded jacket that zips up front. The hood had a white skull with eye holes cut out that masked the suspect’s face.
The second suspect – the driver of the vehicle – is a male around 5’8” to 6’0” tall, wearing a black ski mask covering his face.
