SASKATOON – Police in Saskatchewan charged two men after separate online child pornography investigations. Both of the accused were arrested in Saskatoon earlier this week.
A joint investigation between the Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation (ICE) unit and the National Child Exploitation Coordination Centre resulted in a search warrant being executed at a home in the Forest Grove neighbourhood Wednesday.
Police seized numerous computers and storage devices during the search.
John Mravnik, 61, was arrested and charged with accessing and possession of child pornography. He is expected to make his next court appearance June 10.

On Thursday, members of the ICE unit search a residence in the Lakeview neighbourhood. Computers, storage devices and illegal drugs were seized by police.
Braden Bardell, 30, was arrested and charged with possession of child pornography and possession of a controlled substance for the purpose of trafficking. His next court appearance is scheduled for Monday morning.
