CALGARY – A woman was rushed to hospital with serious injuries after police were called to the 100 block of Skyview Shores Manor NE at around 4:15 p.m. Saturday, over reports that a woman had been stabbed.
Calgary police said they’re talking to neighbours to see if they may have any information related to the stabbing.
Sergeant Phil Hoetger said they’re assuming the stabbing occurred in the Skyview Shores Manor area but they have reason to believe the attack didn’t start in the same area.
“It doesn’t sound like it started here, we’ve been given some other addresses and license plate numbers so we’re going to look into that and see what we can find out,” Sgt. Hoetger said.
Passersby called police and helped the victim with first aid until EMS arrived.
Police are looking into whether two people, arrested on unrelated matters in the area Saturday afternoon, may have been involved in the attack.
