MONTREAL — A photo shared on Twitter had Quebecers south of the Saguenay thanking the weather gods on Friday.
At 7:26 a.m., Transports Quebec spokesperson Guillaume Paradis shared a picture of a snowy section of highway R175.
The road runs between Quebec City and Saguenay, cutting through the Jacques-Cartier National Park, which is described as one of the “most beautiful glacial valleys in Quebec.”
The park certainly lived up to its name on Friday.
The photo caused some consternation on social media, with many refusing to believe it could be true.
“Show me another picture. Same place, same snow but different picture — then I’ll believe it,” said David Arturo on Global Montreal’s Facebook page, while Derald Wayne Douglas Jr. wittily noted: “Cool!”
