EDMONTON — Edmonton police are warning southwest residents to protect their property after a dozen break-and-enters over a four-day period.
Police are investigating reports of 12 robberies in the Rutherford and Riverbend neighbourhoods between May 14 and 17.
Police believe two men seen in the area during the incidents have targeted unlocked vehicles and have stolen cash, electronics, sunglasses and garage door openers.
The openers were then used to get into garages, where more items were taken, police say.
Both suspects are described as caucasian males, between 15 and 21 years old.
One was wearing a dark hoodie with a lighter hood, while the other was wearing a black hoodie.
