TORONTO — Canadians hate mattress shopping, according to a recent survey. So much so that nearly one-third of respondents said they’d rather nurse a hangover than look for a mattress.

Online mattress retailer Casper commissioned the survey, which also found that when people were asked what they’d rather spend a weekend doing than mattress shopping:

  • 31.9% would choose to nurse a hangover
  • 28.4% would rather move boxes
  • 23.6% would prefer to go to the dentist
