Gas prices jump above $1 per litre in Edmonton

EDMONTON — The cost of gas has taken a jump to prices Edmonton drivers haven’t seen in months.

Many gas stations were selling gas for 102.9 Wednesday, which was a jump from about 90.9 cents Tuesday night.

This is the first time gas prices have been more than one dollar a litre since last November.

According to the website gasbuddy.com, there were still some stations selling gas for 89.9 cents Wednesday evening.

Prices have fluctuated over the past few months. The lowest price at the pumps this year was back in January when gas was 66 cents per litre.
