TORONTO — If movie star Rachel McAdams is looking for a bigger house, she may want to consider snatching up the one where her Mean Girls character lived.
The 1,858-square-metre mansion, located in Toronto’s upscale Bridle Path community, went on the market this month with a price tag of $14.8 million.
In a scene in the 2004 movie, Cady (Lindsay Lohan) declares: “Wow, your house is really nice!”
Regina, whose mother was played by Amy Poehler, replies: “I know, right?”
According to Sotheby’s International Realty Canada, the Neoclassical solid stone estate at 11 High Point Road boasts a two-level entrance of Italian marble leading to a Scarlett O’Hara staircase and Juliette balcony overlooking the great room.

The master bedroom — complete with a dressing room, sitting room, fireplace and six-piece ensuite — is described as “an oasis of solitude.”
The home features an entertainment room, spa, wine cellar and wet bar as well as separate accommodations for “the help.”
Outside, the 8,094-square-metre gated lot has a large pool and tennis court as well as a stone coach house.
According to the listing, taxes on the property are currently $66,635.
In addition to its starring role in Mean Girls, the mansion has been rented out as a temporary home to several big stars working in the city. William Shatner filmed a commercial in its foyer and Martha Stewart shot a cooking segment in the kitchen.
