KELOWNA – The Kelowna Rockets laced up for their final practice of the season at Prospera Place this morning.
“The spirits are high,” says assistant captain Tyson Baillie. “We’ve had fast paced practice this week. Everyone’s having a lot of fun.”
The Rockets are still coming down from their WHL Championship high, but have had a week to scout out the opposition.
“We haven’t played these teams at all so it’ going to be very interesting to see how the game and tournament goes,” says Rockets captain, Madison Bowey. “We’re definitely in shape for it and ready to get going.”
The team boards a flight for Quebec City bright and early tomorrow morning. They open up the tournament against the host Quebec Remparts on Friday.
