Cocaine, Ecstasy, marijuana seized in large Edmonton bust

EDMONTON – Six people were arrested and $375,000 worth of drugs were seized in an Edmonton drug bust last week connected to B.C.

The search warrants happened on April 23 as a drug shipment was being transported to an Edmonton home just south of Whyte Avenue, investigators said.

The drugs seized included:

  • 423 grams of cocaine
  • 16 kilograms of a buffing agent
  • 488 grams of Ecstasy
  • 568 fentanyl pills
  • 24 kilograms of marijuana
  • 20 grams of psilocybin

Three vehicles were also seized, along with $29,960 in cash.

Edmonton residents Elyssa Burton, 19, Corban Guiney, 20, Eric Gauthier, 221, Levi Lund, 26, and Teia Sheppard, 21, were arrested, as well as Kelowna resident Blair Seabrook, 39. The group is facing a total of 15 charges.

The Edmonton-based drug trafficking group was linked to drug suppliers in Kelowna, ALERT alleges.

Along with ALERT Edmonton, Alberta Sheriffs, Edmonton police, and RCMP took part in the bust.
