Civic leaders attend CivicAction Summit in Toronto

TORONTO – Over 600 civic leaders from across the Greater Toronto and Hamilton Area are meeting today in Toronto for the CivicAction Summit.

Held every four years, the summit brings together senior and rising leaders, including leaders from federal, provincial, and municipal governments to share their vision for the region and to drive new regional priorities and partnerships.

This year, the Better City Bootcamp will focus on a number a key issues such as affordable housing, mental health support, childhood health, infrastructure and public space.

Both Premier Kathleen Wynne and Toronto Mayor John Tory made remarks and speeches during the event being held at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre.
