Solidaires Awards

Centraide handed out its Solidaires Awards, with prizes recognizing companies who have been instrumental in Centraide’s fundraising – not to mention the organizations funded by Centraide that do the hard work on the ground to support Montrealers in need.

Now, she is about to embark on a new challenge – as the president of Pearson College in British Columbia.

One family’s fight against the city

A father is fighting the city of Montreal after his son, Jeremy Horne, died from a drug overdose in a friend’s home in NDG.

He was served a parking ticket that same night.

Horne’s father is asking for he $53 fine to be waived, something the city told him it wasn’t possible.
