WINNIPEG – The city is gearing up for its annual auction of unclaimed bicycles.
There will be 400 bikes auctioned off on Saturday and 300 on Sunday. The public will be able to view the bikes before each auction begins.
Viewing is from 7 a.m. to 8:45 a.m. Saturday, with the auction starting at 9 a.m. Viewing is from 10 a.m. to 11:45 a.m. Sunday, with the auction starting at noon.
All bicycles are sold as is, without warranty.

A one-time bicycle registration will be available on site at a cost of $6.30 per bicycle. This will ensure if your bike is lost or stolen and the city recovers it, you will get it back with no additional charges.
The auction will be held at Century Arena at 1377 Clarence Ave. Cash, credit and debit will be accepted.
The City of Winnipeg partnered with the WRENCH to offer more than 250 ready-to-ride bikes tuned up through the WRENCH’s UpCycle employment training program.
