SASKATOON – Two men were shot during an armed robbery Wednesday evening. The shooting happened at a bar in Quill Lake, Sask.
Mounties say two men entered the bar around 11 p.m. One was armed with a rifle and the other had a crowbar.
During an altercation, one suspect fired two shots into the ceiling and then shot one man in the leg and a second man in the back.
The two suspects then fled the bar with a case of beer.
Both victims were transported to hospital by STARS for treatment of their injuries. There is no work on their current conditions.

Police say that just after midnight, a half-ton pickup truck believed to have been used by the suspects crashed into a business in Watson. Mounties arrested one man and recovered a firearm.
The second man fled on foot and was tracked down about an hour later in a field on the outskirts of Watson.
Police have charged Delbert Patrick Nanaquetung of Fishing Lake First Nation and Donovan Wade Nanaqueting of Wadena, Sask. with a slew of charges including three counts of attempted murder, robbery with a firearm, carrying a weapon dangerous to the public and mischief over $5,000.
Both men appeared before a justice of the peace on April 23 and were remanded into custody. Donovan and Delbert Nanaquetung will appear in a Yorkton courtroom on April 27.
