ANAHEIM, CALIF. – The California Highway Patrol in Anaheim used a canine unit to apprehend a man suspected of stealing a SUV.
After a brief chase, police cornered the vehicle and the suspect stepped outside but refused to comply with police commands to place himself on the ground.

After a standoff, police released a police dog who forced the suspect to the ground. The suspect was placed into custody without incident. The arrest was captured on video by an overhead news helicopter.
