LOON LAKE, Sask. – A teen girl is recovering in a Saskatoon hospital following a stabbing. The stabbing happened Thursday morning on the Makwa-Sahgaican First Nation near Loon Lake, Sask.
Mounties say they were called to a residence on the First Nation around 5:45 a.m. after receiving a report of a stabbing. A teen girl was found with serious injuries.
She was taken to Meadow Lake Hospital for treatment and later taken to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. There is no word on her current condition.

Police are not releasing details about the weapon used in the attack as they continue their investigation.
No arrests have been made.
