Pasqua water leak causes patient relocation

REGINA – Some surgical and medical patients at the Pasqua hospital had an unexpected interruption Wednesday night.

A water line broke around 11:00 p.m. and a total of 28 patients from units 3D and 4D had to be moved.

The line was repaired and the leak stopped around 1:00 a.m. Friday. The area was cleaned-up and patients began moving back in the afternoon.

The Regina Qu’Appelle Health Region said all patients continued to receive proper care in alternative units.
