VANCOUVER – A man is in police custody after assaulting a woman on the Seawall Friday morning.
Police say the woman was jogging on the popular route and was at Carrall St. and Pacific Blvd. when a man grabbed her.

She pushed him away and kept running but the man continued to follow her. The woman was able to call 9-1-1 and that is when the suspect fled.
Officers and a K9 unit were able to catch up to him and he was arrested. He also had to be treated for a dog bite.
Ahmad Ghanizadah has now been charged with assault.
