FORT MCMURRAY, Alta. – Alberta Wildrose Leader Brian Jean says his party would act to fix the failures of the Progressive Conservative party when it comes to care spaces for seniors.

Jean, speaking in Fort McMurray, says his party would reallocate funding for a range of care options tailored to patient needs.

Jean says seniors need to be cared for near the services they need.

He says in Fort McMurray alone he has seen five premiers break promises to build one specific seniors care facility.

PC Leader Jim Prentice has said building more care spaces is a government priority to help seniors and to reduce bottlenecks in hospitals.

Voters go the polls in the Alberta election on May 5th.
