REGINA – Police are investigating after a 62-year-old woman was stabbed during the robbery of a Regina business Thursday morning.

Officers were called to a business in the 1800 block of Angus St. just after 11:00 a.m.

Initial investigation suggests a man entered the business with a bladed weapon and demanded cash. The woman was injured after struggling with suspect, who fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The woman was take to hospital but her injuries are described as relatively minor.

Investigators continue to search for the suspect, who is described as a Caucasian man, between 40-50 years old, with brown hair and an unshaven appearance.
