MONTREAL – The Lester B. Pearson School Board is conducting air quality studies within all of their schools over the next three months.
Thirty-eight elementary schools and 13 high schools will be examined to make sure they meet new provincial regulations for air quality.
Some of the things they will be looking for are asbestos, mould and carbon dioxide levels among other things.
Although there is no particular reason to be concerned right now, the school board wants to make sure they are on top of any possible issues that could arise within their system.
