Man, 61, dies after bicycle collides with vehicle in Clarington, Ont.

CLARINGTON, Ont. – A 61-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle in Clarington, Ont.

Durham Regional Police say some cyclists were riding their bikes when one of the cyclists attempted a left turn and was struck by a passing vehicle on Sunday morning.

Police say the driver of the vehicle received minor injuries while the cyclist was pronounced dead at the scene in an ambulance.

Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
