TORONTO- Toronto police have made a second arrest in the murder of a teen who was shot last month and have released details on a third arrest.
Trevor Seraphine, 17, was gunned down outside an apartment building at 44 Willowridge Rd. in the city’s northwest on Mar. 21.
On Friday, police arrested the second of two brothers they were pursuing in relation to the murder.
Corey Murray, 29, was arrested in Mississauga and charged with first-degree murder. He will appear in court at Old City Hall on Saturday. Earlier this week, his brother, Curtis Murray, 25, was arrested in connection with the same crime and also charged with first-degree murder.
Police revealed Friday that Samelia Dania Wiltshire, 24, of Mississauga, was charged with being an accessory after the fact to murder in connection with the shooting death. Police said Wiltshire appeared in court on Tuesday. It is unclear what involvement she has with the incident.
Seraphine’s murder is the ninth this year in the city.
