SASKATOON – A man was assaulted and stabbed when he left a Saskatoon bar Wednesday evening. It happened in the parking lot of the Neighbourhood Pub at the corner of 33rd Street West and Confederation Drive.
Police say the man was walking to his vehicle around 9 p.m. when he was approached by three men. They demanded cash and his cell phone.
The man attempted to flee but was beaten by the suspects and stabbed in the leg. The suspects then fled.
The victim was able to drive himself to a hospital for treatment of his injuries.
Police say one suspect is a First Nations man in his early 30’s, around five-foot 11-inches with a muscular build. There are limited descriptions of the other two suspects.
