WINNIPEG – A firefighter was burned Tuesday night during a battle against a blaze at a two-storey townhouse complex.
Firefighters were called to the two-storey Burrows Avenue complex at about 10 p.m. The family in the townhouse unit escaped and crews quickly put out the blaze, but a firefighter received minor burns.
There were no other injuries. A damage estimate and the cause of the fire are not yet available.
