KELOWNA – RCMP serious crime investigators have set up a special tip line as they investigate a sudden death.
Responding to a 9-1-1 call Tuesday afternoon, officers found the body of a 31 year old Kelowna woman her Glenview Gardens townhouse residence.
An autopsy Thursday will confirm the cause of her death but police say it is suspicious.
Neighbours say the woman lived in the home with her two young children, a boy and girl.
“The only thing I asked the officers was if the kids were there. They didn’t see kids there. I don’t want kids being around that, whatever that is,” says next-door-neighbour Cara McGill.
No arrests have been made and police are asking anyone with information to call 250-470-6236 or Crime Stoppers.
The woman’s name has not been released.
Police have been guarding the front and back of the residence, around-the-clock, since the body discovery.
They say there is no danger to the general public.
