Quebec celebrities face-off in charity hockey match

WATCH ABOVE: Quebec celebrities laced-up for a good cause on Sunday. Opposing teams faced-off at the Bell Centre to raise funds for the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation.

MONTREAL -About 15 thousand fans showed up for the Fourth edition of the Ford Celebrity Face-off at the Bell Center Sunday.

The Charity event featured two teams composed of 30 Quebec celebrities, playing hockey to raise funds for the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation.

Comedian Peter MacLeod and Senator Jacques Demers were coaches for the two star-studded teams.

Also participating were people like Patrice Bernier, Captain of the Montreal Impact, who participated in the game for the first time.

And if today was any indication, Bernier is likely to be back for more next year.

“There was great energy and like I said there was a lot of people who showed up to support, so it was a great evening. And I hope to join even more in the future.”

Over $130 thousand was raised at this year’s event.
