“Identifying a specific team, association or baseball league tends to identify victims,” said Insp. Jennifer Ebert with the Saskatchewan RCMP. “They were youths at the time of the offense and we have to do everything we can to protect their identities.”

Davidson made his first court appearance on Friday morning in Duncan, B.C. and will make his next court appearance in Yorkton.

He served in the RCMP for 14 years, from February 1982 to August 1996. He completed basic training in Regina before being posted to Coronach, Sask. He was then transferred to Lloydminster, Alta. in 1983, Yorkton Saskatchewan and then North Battleford, Sask. He retired in August 1996 and moved to Alberta to pursue a personal business opportunity.

More victims

RCMP believe there may still be victims who have not come forward.

“Investigations like this tend to lead to the identification of other victims,” Ebert said. “That’s why it’s important for us to help the memory recall of individuals who may have been witness to these assaults and or potential victims.”

That’s why the photos of Davidson provided by officers are from years when Mounties suspect any other assaults may have occurred.

To assist potential victims and witnesses in recalling memory, the RCMP is rereleasing photos of the accused from the time frame of the allegations. RCMP / Supplied

RCMP also released a timeline of where Davidson has lived and worked over the last three decades:
