WATCH: Liem Vu got a little too comfortable Thursday morning on The Morning Show and accidentally outed Minna Rhee for being pregnant – something she hadn’t shared publicly yet.
TORONTO – Global News reporter Minna Rhee had her pregnancy revealed on Toronto’s The Morning Show when co-host Liem Vu accidentally referenced her baby bump in a live segment on Thursday.
“Can we talk about how she is serving up some major Disney princess hair this morning? Is this a pregnancy thing?,” Vu commented.
“Well, yeah. Your hair doesn’t fall out when you’re pregnant,” Rhee responded in shock. “Spoiler alert. Yes. I’m halfway there. Well, he just outed me.”
Rhee, who is filling in for Global’s Rosey Edeh this week, said she is four and a half months pregnant and had only told her close friends.
Liza Fromer was equally surprised by the accidental reveal.
“Was that not a thing?” said Fromer.
“Oh my God. Was that not a thing? I’m so sorry,” Vu said crouched on the ground appearing to ask for forgiveness.
Following the weather report, Rhee had some harsh words for her co-host.
“Shame on you,” said a smiling Rhee.
The segment ended with a red-faced Vu gesturing for a commercial break.
“I broke the embargo,” Vu proclaimed.
