WINNIPEG — If you’re in the east section of the city you could be experiencing low water pressure and discoloured water.
A temporary interruption in power to the McLean Pumping Station caused a change in water pressure, the city told Global News Tuesday night. This resulted in the low pressure and discolouration.
The city of Winnipeg tweeted just after 6 p.m. Tuesday warning residents in the area.
1/2 There's been a mechanical malfunction at the McLean Pumping Station that is causing poor pressure throughout the east area of the city.

Crews have fixed the problem and the city tells Global News that water pressure should be returning to normal and any discolouration should be gone.
2/2 Crews are currently working on the problem. This may also cause some residents to experience discoloured water.
