WATCH: Crime Stoppers wants your help to solve the murder of Rostam Poulad
He was known as the “Iranian ticket master” in Metro Vancouver. Two years ago, Rostam Poulad was shot and killed in broad daylight at his North Vancouver home – and the motive and murderer are still unknown to police.
“He wasn’t involved in any criminal activities,” says Ramin Mahjourihave, a Persian TV host. “If there were even rumours we would know about it, but there’s nothing with this guy.”
It was around 1 p.m. on November 30, 2013 that Poulad answered his door and greeted an unknown person. He went back inside and returned a short time later. He was shot numerous times.
The suspect is described as a six-foot-tall, with an athletic build, short dark hair and wearing dark clothing. Witnesses saw him escape in a silver or grey import car.
