Seized dogs stolen from Kelowna pound

Kelowna – RCMP say two dogs were taken from the Regional District of Central Okanagan dog pound in a break-in early Thursday morning.

According to the regional district, the animals were seized late Wednesday after two goats were killed in Joe Rich that day.

RCMP say two people can be seen on surveillance video going into the pound on Weddell Place and then leaving with two dogs.

Police say they already have two suspects but have yet to make any arrests.

Investigators are hoping anyone with information will call the Kelowna RCMP or Crime Stoppers.

Correction: This story was updated to reflect the fact that two goats were killed. A previous version of this story incorrectly stated the animals killed were sheep.
