A pedestrian is in hospital after being hit by a car in Vancouver early this morning.
It happened at around 1 a.m. at the intersection of 1st Avenue and Commercial.

The victim is a young man who is believed to be in serious condition.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being rushed to the hospital. The driver stayed at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
