CALGARY – Final arguments were presented Wednesday in the trial of Calgary nurse Drew Legary, accused of sexual assault and sexual interference against a 13-year-old boy.

The boy, now 16, was a patient at the Alberta Children’s Hospital in 2011 when the alleged assault occurred.

The Crown told court Legary intentionally touched the young teen in a sexual manner. The defence maintains Legary was giving the child a physical exam that included the groin area, and any touching of the child was accidental or incidental.
