We’ll tell you about ‘The Shovel It Forward’ campaign being promoted by Canadian Tire at 6:45am. The company is asking people all over Canada to shovel their neighbours sidewalk or driveway in an unselfish act of kindness. #shovelitforward

At 7:15am we’ll tell you about the “new big thing” these days – pushing Greek yogurt to the side as the trendiest food in the dairy aisle.  Atlantic Superstore Cooking School Chef Kathy Jollimore will introduce us to Kefir. Known for its many health benefits, especially probiotics, it has been around for thousands of years but is still pretty unfamiliar to most people in this part of the world.

We’ve been saying it for awhile now but Spring really does arrive on Friday (at least on the calendar anyway) and at Exhibition Park with the 2015 Morotcycle and Powersport Atlantic Show! The event promises to be an all-encompassing powersports event showcasing ATV’s, UTV’s, right down to scooters! At 7:45am we’ll catch up with representatives from Master Promotions to find out what’s new for 2015!

It may feel like we’re stuck in the dead of winter, but Environment Canada promises us that warmer temperatures will arrive soon. Susan MacIntosh joins us at 8:15am with more flower arranging tips just in time for spring.

And at 8:45am we’ll begin our annual Burger Week coverage with a visit from Bâton Rouge Steakhouse & Bar. The annual food festival put on by The Coast is not only a mouth watering favourite in our city, it also helps to raise money for Feed Nova Scotia.
