Police investigate suspicious death in Victoria

Victoria police and the Vancouver Island Integrated Major Crime Unit are looking into a suspicious death that was reported Friday night.

Officers discovered the body of a 46-year-old Victoria woman at a residence in the 800-block of Queens Ave.

An area around the house was cordoned off Friday night as officers investigated.

According to police, there is no reason to believe the public may be at risk.
