REGINA – A man has died in a two-vehicle collision on Ring Road, near the McDonald Street exit.
It happened just after 4 p.m. on Friday in the westbound lanes.
Regina Police say the preliminary investigation suggests a vehicle with a male driver, and three other male passengers, was heading eastbound on Ring Road when he crossed the ditch and hit a westbound car head-on.
The man driving the westbound car was pronounced dead at the scene. He had one male passenger with him who was taken to hospital along with the four occupants of the oncoming car.
No word on the extent of their injuries.
Regina Police closed the road so investigators could collect evidence at the scene.
The identity of the deceased has been confirmed, and police are notifying his next of kin. His name will not be released by police.
