Fire erupts in Park-Extension

MONTREAL – A two-storey building in Park-Extension was destroyed by a fire early Friday morning.

About 100 firefighters were called to the three-alarm blaze just after 6 a.m.

The fire broke out in the B.K. grocery store on the ground floor and rose to the second floor, where there is a mosque and several apartments.

Investigators are working to figure out what caused the fire.
