LONGUEUIL – Local police are asking the public to help to identify a possible predator in the Longueuil area.
A child was heading home from school around 3:55 p.m. on January 20 when the suspect allegedly approached her.
He was parked in a golden pick-up style truck on the corner of Limoges and Guy streets.
The child told police the man got out of his truck and walked up to her.
She continued walking and the driver got in his truck and followed her to the corner of Limoges and Leo streets.
She says he asked her if she wanted a lift and she refused.
He then drove away towards Claude street, but the girl told police she saw the truck driving north on De l’Église not long after.
He is a French-speaking Caucasian male around 55 years of age.
He is between 5″7 and 6″ tall.
He had a dirty face and was wearing a black tuque, beige pants and a black coat.
