KELOWNA – The Kelowna RCMP has released a composite sketch of the suspect in an attempted child luring incident.
Police say on the afternoon of February 26th a 10 year old boy was riding his scooter on a path in the vicinity of Gramiak Road and Mary Court.
The boy was approached by a man who asked if he wanted to talk, saying his house was just down the road.
After being ignored the man asked if they could meet later.
He was last seen heading eastbound on Saskatoon Road.
Investigators believe the suspect may have been in the area of the Springvalley Schools earlier in the day.
The suspect is described as:
· Caucasian male
· 40-50 years
· 6 ft (183 cm)
· Thin build
· Pale complexion
· Grey/white facial hair
· Light brown eyes
· Fresh wound with stitches near his right eye
He was last seen wearing:
· A long navy blue or black jacket
· Black jeans
· Toque
· Sunglasses
· Gloves
