VERNON — Investigators in Vernon will be sifting through what’s left of a home that went up in flames Monday night.
A jogger noticed flames coming from a residence on 25th Avenue shortly after 8:35 p.m.

The place was fully involved when the BX-Swan Lake fire department showed up.
Police say the home was vacant and the damage is extensive.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
