WATCH: See Moncton’s mountainous snow pile from a drone’s perspective

So, you think you’ve seen a lot of snow this winter? You might still be shocked to see how much has fallen on Moncton.

New Brunswick YouTube user corbou2000 has posted a video to YouTube that shows aerial footage captured by a drone camera flying 200 feet above a snow disposal site on Berry Mills Road.

Breaking news from Canada and around the world sent to your email, as it happens.

The city has seen hundreds of centimetres of snow this winter, and to make room on streets and sidewalks, crews have been moving excess quantities to the dump site — a spot that now looks like a mini-mountain range of icy white peaks.

The massive amount of snow even manages to dwarf the equipment that can be seen seen maintaining the site in the video.

At the rate it’s piling up, the snow might not be fully melted until the summer weather arrives.
